Snowboarding

Snowboarding is becoming more popular each year.  While snowboarding originated with a younger set of riders, many newcomers to the sport are well beyond their teen years. More and more Alpine skiers are branching out to enjoy the fun of this new sport. It's exhilarating! It is a quicker sport to learn and it also makes different terrain and conditions fun for the seasoned veteran.

If you are considering the fun of snowboarding, there are two important ingredients that you will need to have a great day: the proper equipment and professional instruction.

Your first day on a snowboard can be challenging, but most people are well on their way and having fun within two or three days. Do yourself a favor and take a lesson. Lessons reduce learning time and increase riding time. Most ski resorts now offer professional snowboard instruction.
